Kissing in the ditch

The art school where I have been teaching had their end of year function at a bowls club. It was a teacher's unused pick for a 21st, so we got to enjoy the booking! Was impressed to see one of my students play in unexpectedly heavy metal band. Here is the winning shot from the last game of the evening. The bowls guy said from mid way this could not be beat as the winning shot had knocked the jack into the ditch but was still touching it, hence the sporting title terminology.
