greenland wonder

ever since i was a little girl, i've wanted to go to greenland. i have a thing for cold countries, what can i say it's all part of being australian. my first three days in greenland i spent in ilulissat which is just located north of the artic circle. i could have spent the whole week there. what with the icebergs, glacier, ice cap and the overall sense of  tranquillity... everything is done at a leisurely pace... after a stressful couple of months with some major life changing events happening in my life… this is what i needed. travelling by myself also forced me to interact with many different types of people, and i found out so much more about how greenland works than you would every read in a travel book. whilst i only travelled a small section of greenland, i will be coming back.
