1015 and a loyal gathering of 19,000 were singing loud after a stoic win in a fantastic game of footy against North Melbourne. The sounds of song echoed around a quarter full stadium out at Homebush on a shockingly cold and wet September night. It was a night that I can say went down in the history books, we were part of the worst attended game in a final series since 1924. But still we sang with all our heart:

Cheer, Cheer, the Red and the White

Honour the name by day and by night

Lift that noble banner high

Shake down the thunder from the sky

Whether the odds be great or small

Swans will go win and win overall

While her loyal sons are marching

Onwards to Victory

P.S. Poor picture quality means I need a better camera phone for those occasions when I leave the house and forget my camera for the 1015 photo shoot. Dang nabbit!
